Clara Cho, a Korean cellist based in New York City, is deeply dedicated to a diverse range of classical and contemporary music. As a fierce advocate for the music of our time, she has collaborated closely with living composers, artists, and choreographers such as Reiko Füting, Miro Magloire, Ashkan Behzadi, Lara Downes, inti figgis-vizueta, Jahari Stampley, Christian X. M. McGhee, Jeewon Kim, Youngsue Jo, and Jingu Jun to contribute to the development of emerging repertoire. Recently, she collaborated with the New Chamber Ballet at 1014 – a space for ideas, which was directed by Miro Maglorie. Clara also works as the Precollege Orchestra Librarian and Performance Library Assistant Manager at Manhattan School of Music. Clara holds BM and MM degrees, as well as a Professional Studies certificate from the Manhattan School of Music, where she studied under Julia Lichten and Philippe Muller.
